17 headcoverings

Took 17 hats and scarves with me to my yearly checkup at Rochester General on 6/20. It's been a crazy year - my mother in laws breast cancer diagnosis, daughter graduating kindergarten, son graduating high school and heading to college. Onto bigger and better things again this fall. My head is full of ideas just need to find the time to make them happen.

Substitute patterns for pre tied headscarf

I have been dealing with my mother in laws cancer treatment since septebmer last fall. I will not respond to any comments on this blog (they are ending up in my spam folder for some reason).

But here are some alternatives for the pre tied headscarf sewing pattern.

This one is free, they use quilting cotton. I would not use the padding, I think it would make the scarf super hot and sweaty. http://carolkimball.net/womens-chemo-scarf/

This is a pages with Jewish modest head coverings sewing patterns that will also work for chemo patients. They follow Shabbat and are closed on weekends and Jewish holidays.

Here is an alternative way to make any triangle scarf into a pretied with the help of a simple buckle.
